Preferred Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio of meetings and events-ready luxury hotels to offer planners an even greater variety of exciting global destinations for their next gathering.

Breathtaking ballrooms

Palazzo Versace Dubai – Dubai, UAE (opened October 2015)
Benefitting from the fashion and style credentials of the House of Versace, the lavishly-appointed Gala Ballroom features crystal chandeliers, connecting meeting rooms, state–of-the-art audio visual equipment, and iPad systems control. For daytime events, the ballroom offers swathes of natural light and opens out on to a terrace overlooking Dubai Creek and the city jaw-dropping skyline.

Known for hosting celebrities and members of the US Congress, the hotel has undergone a contemporary makeover to include a rooftop bar offering 360-degree views of the Capitol and the Potomac River – ideal for post-conference cocktail parties – four restaurants, and two ballroom options. The Moretti Grand Ballroom spans 7000 square feet (650 square metres) and includes wireless sound systems, high definition video displays, and press conference staging.

NOMO SOHO – New York City, USA (opened April 2015)
Situated on SoHo’s chic Crosby Street, NOMO SoHo offers versatile meetings and event spaces that are a breath of fresh air in New York City. Planners can select NOMO Kitchen or NOMO Lounge for larger groups and create breakout sessions in the NOMO Library Dining Room or the Library Dining Room. The hotel also offers a 1000-square-foot (92-square-metre) gallery space and a 1170-square-foot (109-square-metre) penthouse, both with outdoor spaces. Rooms can accommodate up to 150 guests and boast stunning 17th Century canal house architecture with contemporary Dutch design.
