Renowned for delivering exceptional wine and dining experiences, InterContinental Sydney has collaborated with winemaking family heavyweights, Henschke, for a once-in-a-lifetime wine dinner curated inside 117 dining to be hosted by the fifth-generation winemaker Stephen Henschke.
The exclusive evening will be held on Wednesday 29 June where guests will indulge in canapes on arrival followed by a five-course degustation menu by 117 dining, infused with the seasonal introduction of truffle. Signature dishes will be enhanced with a special truffle aioli, shiitake truffle puree and shredded white truffle and ganache. Each course will be accompanied by a showcase of handpicked wines from Stephen Henschke, including the rare Hill of Grace Museum collector box with the vintage Hill of Grace 2005 and 2006, “revered around the world” for its elegance and power. With a heritage of winemaking and science in his blood, Stephen’s passion and expertise – along with an impressive list of accolades – offers a rare glimpse into the wine world for an evening to remember.
Designed to support the 117 dining philosophy of culinary innovation and locally-sourced produce, the collaboration with the Henschke Hill of Grace pays tribute to the artisan expressions of local roots, ancestry vines, and over 150 years of remarkable family winemakers.
As award-winner of the World Luxury Restaurant Awards for Best Luxury Hotel Restaurant, 117 dining is committed to redefining culinary concepts and bringing unforgettable dining experiences to both guests and visitors. The intimate dinner is being hosted in what will be a series of memorable guest exclusives, with 117 dining and IHG amplifying its ‘Insider’ know-how to transform everyday experiences.
