Virgin Limited Edition’s Mont Rochelle Hotel & Mountain Vineyard in Franschhoek, South Africa announced the opening of its new Manor House on 1 June 2016. A short walk from the main hotel, the Manor House is a private retreat located near the Country Kitchen restaurant.
Situated in an area internationally renowned for its winelands and stunning scenery, Mont Rochelle boasts a unique hilltop setting and private vineyard encompassing 39 hectares. Comprising four deluxe suites, and a bunk room for children, Manor House captures that ‘home away from home’ feel while allowing guests to indulge in all the luxury of a hotel stay. Groups of up to eight people will be welcomed to kick back and relax while a dedicated team takes care of the rest; from arranging private dining and spa treatments to horseback riding and wine tasting, no detail is overlooked.
Manor House is complete with two private swimming pools; one in the courtyard and the second facing the vineyards and mountains – the perfect spot to take some time out on one of the large sunloungers and soak up the spectacular scenery. For those looking to keep active there is also a gym and games room.
When it comes to dining, guests have the flexibility to choose: having meals privately in Manor House, making use of the indoor kitchen or al fresco dining area, or enjoying the delights of Mont Rochelle’s two restaurants, Miko and Country Kitchen.
Manor House is available for exclusive stays of two nights or more throughout the year. Rates start from R46, 800 per night based on eight adults sharing.
For guests who would like to combine a winelands break with a safari, Virgin Limited Edition provides the perfect extension to a stay at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand, adjacent to Kruger National Park.
