Pan Pacific Perth, for the second consecutive year, is the official hotel partner of 2016 Perth Good Food and Wine Show, running from Friday 8 July to Sunday 10 July.
To kick-start the 2016 show, Pan Pacific Perth will host an exclusive VIP, invite-only cook-off event on Thursday 7 July with star Chefs Alastair McLeod and Miguel Maestre. TV personality Hayley Thompson takes the reins as host of the event, which will see the trio deliver a memorable gourmet experience.
Similar to the theme of Ready, Steady, Cook, Alastair and Miguel will be heading up two teams with lucky guests picked out from the crowd to assist them. The team will prepare their dishes in the live cooking area whilst guiding guests through their sensational creations. During the cook-off, Alastair and Miguel will share their special tricks and expertise in the kitchen with guests.
Not only will guests have an opportunity to vote for their favourite dish from the cook-off, but they will also have the pleasure to sample the dishes in canapé style replicated by the hotel’s kitchen on top of an array of delicious bites served upon their arrival.
The night will continue with a special Q&A session with Alastair, Miguel and the hotel’s Head Chef Paul Gaspa as guests interact with some of the best chefs in the world whilst sipping free-flowing sparkling wine, beer, wine and soft drinks. Guests will also have photo opportunities with the celebrity chefs before the grand finale of the night – lucky prize draws and giveaways of hotel accommodation vouchers, restaurant prizes as well as cookbooks and tickets to this year’s Good Food and Wine Show.
