On 22 July, Hawaiian Airlines began its daily nonstop service between Tokyo Narita International Airport and Honolulu International Airport. Hawaiian’s new Narita route will complement its existing daily service to Tokyo Haneda Airport, providing two daily flight options to travellers in the Greater Tokyo region.
Starting 5 May, Virgin America also increased its service to Hawaii with daily nonstop flights from Los Angeles International Airport to Honolulu, O‘ahu. The new route complements Virgin America’s daily service from San Francisco International Airport to Honolulu International Airport and Kahului Airport, allowing for round-trip connecting service between Honolulu International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport, Las Vegas McCarran International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
