Ponant announces 2018 Arctic and Europe voyages

Monique Ponfoort, Vice President Ponant Australasia, has announced that sales are now open for 2018 Arctic, European, Asian and initial Pacific region voyages. “We are very excited to release these voyages, some of which include the much-anticipated inaugural season for two of our brand new explorer class expedition ships, Le Lapérouse and Le Champlain. Itineraries for these slightly smaller ships, at just 92 suites and staterooms, are in addition to the inclusion of voyages for our existing fleet, L’Austral, Le Boréal, Le Soléal and Le Lyrial, as well as our classic sailing yacht, Le Ponant.”

“We are anticipating great interest in this range of voyages, especially as the new ships are being launched in 2018, so this will be their inaugural season, which invariably attracts attention and sales. Current Ponant bonus advance purchase savings off the published fare apply but these savings will reduce voyage by voyage as space is sold. The time to select your voyage is now, while some voyages are available at up to 30 per cent savings.”

This extensive range of voyages, from seven to 22 nights’ duration, includes luxury expeditions exploring Greenland and Iceland and transiting the famed Northwest Passage, in the company of a specialist polar expedition team, along with Zodiac landings in these remote regions. European luxury cruise itineraries feature Ponant’s home region, the best of the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Aegean, while other itineraries include the Baltic, Baffin Sea and Norwegian Fjords.

Asian and Pacific voyages see a wide range of options on offer with itineraries that take advantage of the compact size of Ponant’s L’Austral and Le Boréal being able to take guests to fascinating destinations including Japan, the Malaysian Archipelago, Melanesia and Polynesia.
