MSC Cruises’ first-ever world cruise
MSC Cruises has announced the opening of sales of its first-ever World Cruise.
MSC Magnifica will offer a unique 119-day cruise itinerary, showcasing 49 unique destinations across six continents.
The MSC World Cruise features the industry’s largest and modern ship to offer this type of extended voyage. MSC Magnifica will depart from Genoa on 5 January 2019, and complete her around-the-world voyage back in Genoa 119 days later.
Crossing six continents, calling at 49 unique destinations in 32 countries, this one-of-a-kind world cruise will be the experience of a lifetime. MSC Cruises created this unique offering to help guests realise their lifelong dreams and aspirations of world travel.

MSC Cruises has selected 49 coveted destinations around the world. Guests will have the chance to cross both the Panama and Suez Canals, through the Caribbean, Colombia, and Aruba then onto the Americas with stops in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco before heading to Hawaii. Guests will then explore Archipelagos of Tonga and Samoa and pristine waters of Bora Bora and Fiji. The excitement will grow as she sails into New Zealand for its maiden visit exploring the Bay of Islands and Auckland before cruising across to Australia with visits to cities Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle. From Australia the cruise will head into Asia covering Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and an overnight in the stunning islands of the Maldives. Then onto the Emirates before transiting the Suez and heading back to the Mediterranean.
Exclusive and unprecedented shore experiences will allow guests to immerse themselves in local culture and experience the best that each destinations has to offer and 15 shore excursions are included in the cruise price. True discovery will involve an above-industry average stay of 13 hours on shore per port of call and extended stays will be offered in Los Angeles, San Francisco (two-night stay), Honolulu, Papeete, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Phuket, Male and Dubai.
From 15 November 2016, for one month, MSC Cruises Voyagers Club members will be able to exclusively book the entire 118-night cruise, while general sales will open in mid-December 2016, however, clients can register their interest from 15 November. Prices start from AU $18,999 per person inside cabins and balcony cabins from AU $27,999 per person twin share.
