Opened in 1992, El Questro pioneered refined comfort in the outback. Over the past two and half decades, the resort has firmly established itself as an icon in Western Australia and one of Australia’s most spectacular outback destinations. This April marks the 25th season that El Questro will reopen after the wet season to welcome visitors to experience its long-standing magic in the magnificent Kimberley.
Delaware North, who has owned El Questro since March 2010, has established a strong relationship with the local Aboriginal peoples and the Kimberley. It was arguably the first tourism business to have meetings with native title groups. El Questro Homestead has also joined Luxury Lodges of Australia, further showcasing Australia’s extraordinary regional diversity and experiential high-end travel offering. Its persistent effort on exceeding guests’ expectations has led to a number of awards since its takeover seven years ago.
The Homestead El Questro is an exclusive luxury retreat situated atop the Chamberlain Gorge and will reopen on 1 April 2017. Book between now and 21 October 2017 and pay $1476 per night for travel dates 1 April to 3 June 2017 and 3 September to 21 October 2017. For travel dates between 4 June and 2 September 2017, a Homestead twin-share room is priced from $1673. Four-night minimum stay required. This includes all dining, and selected alcoholic beverages are included along with selected tours within El Questro and El Questro Visitor Permit plus 25% off helicopter tour to Miri Miri Falls or Amaroo Falls.
