Thailand’s Amatara Resort & Wellness has launched a host of new wellness services, an introductory offer for the world’s first Thai Hammam, and exclusive membership programmes.
The Thai Hammam Opening Package provides a 150-minute journey through the Amatara Hamman concept. It includes an aromatic Thai herbal steam, deep conditioning organic hair treatment, Moroccan black soap massage and deep skin exfoliation with a Hammam Kessa glove. Guests are treated to a thermal mud treatment with Ghassoul and 7-herb clay from Morocco or mineral Hungarian Moor mud.
Priced at 5900 baht ++ (original price 8300++), the treatment ends with Himalayan salt cave therapy and a Signature of Amatara massage. This package allows guests to keep the Kessa glove as a gift to take home, and offers a 15% discount on food and beverage services, post-treatment snack and refreshments, and complimentary access to the swimming pool and kids’ club.
Amatara also launched the full-day Wellness Day Package, “A day of Wellness at Amatara”. The day starts with a morning yoga class with Amatara’s Yoga Master overlooking the Andaman Sea. This is followed by the Thai Hammam experience and Signature of Amatara massage, which combines Thai spa luxury with detoxifying health benefits.
Guests then take lunch at The Retreat, the newly-refreshed restaurant dedicated to healthy food and beverages. Guests can then relax by the pool, enjoy another spa treatment, join a complimentary Wellness activity class, or use the Amatara Fitness Centre.
For those seeking the ultimate detoxification, Amatara has introduced special 1, 3, 5 and 7-day Detox Stay packages. The new one-day programme was conceived as a mini detox package for those looking to give their body a boost by cleansing the system for a day. This package includes a wellness consultation, 5 raw juices + 3 green shots, a one-hour Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage, colon hydrotherapy, 30-minute Thai Herbal Steam and Thai herbal Body Scrub, Signature of Amatara Massage and complimentary access to Wellness activities classes. The one-day detox package is priced at 10,650 Baht ++.
Finally, the Amatara Wellness Membership Programme is ideal for local residents who want to benefit from ongoing use of Amatara’s premier wellness facilities. Amatara’s Wellness Director, Phoebe Boonkerd, explains:
“Guests can expand their membership to include activities such as yoga, TRX, Fitball and Pilates, or a series of Signature of Amatara massages, such as those included with the 6-month programme.”
Annual membership is available at 35,000 Baht ++ per person, and includes all of the above, plus discounts on spa treatments, food and beverage, one Amatara Pampering Massage, physical analysis and nutrition and body composition analysis.
