Ovolo Woolloomooloo the latest addition to Small Luxury Hotels of the World’s collection of small, independently owned hotels.
Stretched along the longest timber-piled wharf in the world, Ovolo Woolloomooloo is situated right in Sydney Harbour at the 100-year-old heritage-listed Woolloomooloo Wharf. The hotel mixes heritage and modernity, with contemporary designs and inclusions surrounded by the history of the wharf.
The architectural design features French windows, framed by the teal colouring. Each of the 100 rooms and suites tell an Australian story through a series of art pieces infused into the design. The hotel offers free breakfast, free happy hour and free mini bar, which aligns with SLH’s INVITED loyalty program.
Daniel Luddington, Vice President of Development comments: “Sydney has proved an elusive destination for SLH for many years and so the Ovolo Woolloomooloo is a highly anticipated addition to the portfolio. The hotel sums up its vibrant location perfectly – it has a heritage feel, but is forward thinking and community minded – and we look forward to welcoming SLH guests here to experience this iconic city.”
David Sude, General Manager of Ovolo Woolloomooloo says ‘We are really looking forward to our partnership with SLH. At Ovolo we believe we have a true independent spirit and because of this we really appeal to independently-minded people who have a zest for life. We therefore see the alignment with Small Luxury Hotels as a perfect fit given their customer profile and we are excited about the opportunities moving forward.”
Ovolo Wooloomoo is now available to book. Rates start from AU$299 per night based on double occupancy with continental breakfast, free laundry, Wi-Fi, happy hour and free mini-bar.
