Four Seasons Hotel Doha has announced the opening of the hotel’s newest dining experience with The Pier, a casually chic outdoor seaside shisha lounge. The Pier joins the hotel’s culinary concepts including Nobu Doha, Elements and Shisha Terrace, acclaimed for creating experiential dining experiences for guests.
As with its namesake, The Pier takes dining to the sea with an expansive, 864-square-metre pier anchored on the Arabian Gulf. The location, just 60 metres from the beach, allows for views of the marina and Doha’s cityscape. Open in the cooler months from October to May, the open-air venue features five private cabanas and covered pavilions, set along the curving pier. The cabanas each accommodate seating for up to 8 guests. Additionally, the covered pavilions seat up to 48 guests, and offer an idyllic and stylish location to meet for cocktails at sunset or late at night.
“Once again, Four Seasons continues to elevate, and innovate, the dining scene in Doha with the addition of The Pier,” says Todd Cilano, regional vice president and GM of Four Seasons Hotel Doha. “The Pier offers guests a unique opportunity to dine and gather in our incredible outdoor setting, over the water, matched by exquisite cuisine. There is really nothing else like it in Doha.”
The Pier’s menu features Arabic fusion cuisine, artisan cocktails and creative shisha flavours. From cold and hot mezzeh to mohamar and saj, and favourites from the land and sea, The Pier showcases a menu of traditional and modern Arabic cuisine, infused with global favourites. Menu highlights include black truffle hummus, Mexican chicken “shawarmito” with harissa guacamole, Arabian surf & turf with grilled Omani lobster, beef tenderloin, lamb kofta, and Mary biscuit um ali.
The Pier features a bar experience developed by London cocktail aficionados Fling. The cocktail menu captures a sense of place with a selection of refreshing cocktails and mocktails. The signature menu invites guests to sip and savour at The Pier’s relaxing outdoor setting.
