The extravagant, invite-only La Nuit by Sofitel dazzled Wellington on Friday 3 November with flavours of the best of Parisian nightlife including international DJs, a contemporary light display, gastronomic delights and signature cocktails.
Guests – including Signature Media CEO & Group Editor, Cathy Wagstaff – of the brand’s signature event at Sofitel Wellington spent their night in a captivating space with La Nuit by Sofitel taking over the ground floor of the five-star luxury hotel. The lobby was adorned in black and white geometric patterns and unique light features. Guests were be treated to a rich mixology experience featuring special-edition La Nuit cocktails inspired by Paris and complemented by the finest gastronomy. Later in the evening the Irish-Australian musical talent Potbelleez DJs took to the stage.
The recently born event concept of La Nuit by Sofitel has seen magnifique events held in cities across the globe including at Sofitel in Marrakech, Cannes, Budapest, Vienna, Manila, Luxembourg, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Dubai, and Los Angeles. The multi-sensory concept of La Nuit by Sofitel has been designed to reflect the quintessential Sofitel experience, highlighting sophisticated and vibrant culture, inspired cuisine, and creative design.

Sofitel Wellington reopened its doors in October 2017. The 129-room, 14-storey hotel is once again the capital’s favourite destination for business and leisure, nestled between Wellington’s landmarks The Beehive and the Botanical Gardens.
