Amatara Wellness Resort has marked itself as one of Southeast Asia’s premier destination spas, constantly changing and adapting its programs to offer guests the pinnacle of wellbeing. Following announcements of a new Holistic Vitality package and a Yoga Deck that transforms into a bar by night, Amatara paid a visit to Sydney to update its media partners on the latest from Cape Panwa, Phuket.

Ms Phoebe Boonkerd, Director of Wellness Operations, and Mr Athipat Jitchaiwat, DoSM, hosted 20 or so guests for a luncheon at Sydney’s Chin Chin on Wednesday 14 March, organised by Divine Marketing. The restaurant’s pan-Asian cuisine was presented with a Thai twist for the event, including a seemingly endless supply of shared plates laden with beef rib, som tam, pork belly and shredded duck pancakes.

Amatara Wellness Resort offers all-inclusive healthy retreat programs as well as leisure holidays for its guests. The Retreats focus on detox, yoga, weight management, fitness, relaxing spas, as well as tailor-made programs. All retreats include accommodation, roundtrip airport transfers, three nutritious meals per day, Wellness Consultation, Physical Analysis, treatments and activities based on chosen program and Amatara’s signature treatment – Thai Hammam – for the ultimate relaxation. The resort has 105 suites and villas, each with its own private balcony and sea view offering space, privacy and tranquillity.

Amplifying its wellness offerings is a new collaboration with Vitallife Wellness Centre, a provider of scientifically based integrated medicine and the first medical wellness centre in Asia to be accredited by the World Council on Clinical Accreditation. The agreement will build on Amatara’s signature Holistic Vitality Program, introducing integrative healthcare consulting and vitamin supplement dispensation by medical specialists at Vitallife Wellness Centre.

This 5-day/4-night program has three aspects: Physical (analysis of body composition, physiotherapy, spa treatments, Ayurvedic treatments, detoxifying/draining/slimming treatments and fitness classes and activity), Mind & Emotional (stress-management activities) and Inner Vitality & Holistic Program (using a holistic approach, personalising treatments, activities, nutrition and supplements based on the results of Vitality Holistic Index testing).

To complement these comprehensive wellness Retreats, Amatara also offers gourmet cuisine and one of the region’s best ocean-view spa facilities, exemplified through Amatara’s latest wins at the World Luxury Hotel Awards as Luxury Holistic Retreat (regional), Luxury Wellness Retreat (continental) and Luxury Healing Retreat (Global).
