In Bhutan, there is a sense that time has stood still. Walking through the temples full of red-robed monks, or among chilli fields where farmers cut their crops by hand, feels as it has always been, unchanged by tourism or Western influence.

With COMO Uma Bhutan, guests can explore this mysterious kingdom by foot, bike, kayak, car or helicopter, from either of its two resorts; COMO Uma Paro and COMO Uma Punakha.

Full itineraries planned meticulously by English-speaking guides, ensure guests’ days are spent experiencing the very best of the country, whether it’s hiking to a mountaintop monastery or sampling ‘momos’ with the local villagers. At the end of the day, guests can unwind with all that COMO is known for – award-winning cuisine, powerful wellness, and a night slept well in a destination worth dreaming about.
