Signature Media has signalled a concerted push to further develop Luxury Australian Travel Trade Enews (LATTE) with the appointment of Guy Dundas to the newly created role of Managing Editor.
Dundas brings a wealth of travel industry experience with close to 11 years of trade media experience accumulated as Editor at Travel Daily – a division of the Business Publishing Group (BPG) – a role that saw him lead the direction of editorial content for the daily enews title for more than 2,500 issues. He also produced regular content for BPG’s monthly trade magazine, Travel Bulletin, over the past four years.
This highly regarded writer has strong business relationships and extensive industry knowledge, working within the travel-wholesale and tour-operating segments for the likes of Adventure World, Talpacific Holidays and Scenic for close to 10 years before turning to journalism in 2007.
Dundas has been tasked with spearheading the development of native editorial content and concepts for LATTE‘s eDM as part of Signature Media’s strategy to increase the value of the content for luxury travel advisers.
LATTE was the brainchild of Signature Media CEO and Group Editor, Cathy Wagstaff, who identified an untapped niche in the Australian trade enewsletter space for the fast-growing luxury segment. Produced on a weekly basis, LATTE has continued to carve out a loyal following over the past five years from travel advisers seeking more in-depth interviews, stories, reviews and news on high-end products and services.
Based in Chatswood on Sydney’s North Shore, Signature Media is renowned for its consumer-facing travel titles, including the flagship magazine Holidays with Kids, Signature Luxury Travel & Style, Signature Spa & Wellness, Five Star Kids, Ski & Snowboard with Kids and Caravan & Camping with Kids, all market leaders in their sector.
