Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts will convert the Mandarin Oriental on the Las Vegas Strip to the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas in August 2018. The luxury hotel brand of Hilton Worldwide will assume full operation of the property and intends to reimagine and renovate the hotel with brand touches and improvements.
When the property opens as the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, it will be at the epicentre of the entertainment capital and the brand’s first property in the market. With elevated offerings alongside Las Vegas’ most sought-after attractions, the hotel will offer True Waldorf Service with Personal Concierges to ensure every guest enjoys thoughtful, intuitive and graceful service. Guests can also expect unforgettable experiences, including innovative dining concepts, spectacular views of The Strip from the hotel’s 23rd-floor bar, helicopter rides, spa retreats and more.
“We are thrilled to announce the addition of a Waldorf Astoria in the western part of the US, and in the heart of such a dynamic, internationally beloved city like Las Vegas,” said Martin Rinck, global head, Luxury & Lifestyle Group, Hilton.
“Paired with the recently opened Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and the brand’s recently announced properties in San Francisco and Antigua, the signing of Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas builds on the brand’s exciting trajectory and impressive growth story.”
The property’s proximity to all of the incredible amenities of ARIA Resort & Casino, including a state-of-the-art gaming facility, offers guests convenient access to a signature Las Vegas experience while still providing the brand’s iconic True Waldorf Service.
Located at 3752 S Las Vegas Blvd, the property sits near some of the city’s most exciting landmarks, including the famed fountains of Bellagio, and is just steps from the entertainment hub featuring ARIA, The Park and the 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena.
Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas will participate in Hilton Honors, the guest-loyalty program for Hilton’s 14 brands.
