The Travel Corporation‘s high-end touring program, Luxury Gold, has unveiled its 2019 Worldwide Magazine with over 50 enhanced luxury guided journeys, offering VIP experiences with the emphasis on personalisation and exclusivity.
Curated by TTC’s Chairman, Stanley Tollman, Luxury Gold is a variety of top-shelf travel experiences unlike any other, which include its exclusive Chairman’s Collection, offering a rare opportunity to meet Legendary Locals such as Princess Anita von Hohenberg at her Austrian castle and making music in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning musician, Charlie McCoy.

An online hub called My Luxury Gold has been rolled out, enabling travellers to touch base with their Travelling Concierge before they depart for their holiday. With the addition of Your Way, guests receive a choice of included experiences to customise their journey. On days with “Relaxed Starts,” guests can enjoy breakfast in their room at no extra charge – a new Luxury Gold offering.
The program explores Europe, Britain, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and the Americas in “exquisite luxury,” with select journeys limited to 24 guests.
Luxury Gold continues to enhance its luxury portfolio by adding new journeys, VIP experiences and guest benefits. Bespoke journeys are another new and exciting offering and travellers can now create their own tailor-made holidays including Greece, Ireland, Scotland and Africa.
In addition, to capture early bookings, the Luxury Gold magazine has launched over two months earlier than previous years, aimed at enabling loyal travel agents an incredible opportunity to sell Luxury Gold to new clientele, while also allowing return clients to book much earlier than previously possible. As an added bonus, Luxury Gold is offering a 10% Early Payment Discount for reservations paid in full by 31 January 2019.
“For the 2019 edition of our Luxury Gold magazine, we continue to share inspiring stories from our “tastemakers,” seventeen individuals who are passionate about travel, food, wine, art, music and history,” commented Lorraine Sharp, Managing Director Luxury Gold.
“These tastemakers’ stories are a great selling tool for our amazing travel agents and provide opportunities to refine their knowledge on our exceptional experiences with this shareable content.”
Sharp told LATTE that “Luxury Gold in Australia has made significant inroads in the short time it has been a stand-alone product.
“Sales continue to rise and the Australian market represents significant volume, being the second largest market globally for Luxury Gold, just after the US. We’re proud and very fortunate to work with our incredible global teams to help bring our experiences to life for our guests.” Luxury Gold Managing Director Australia, Lorraine Sharp
“Our Chairman’s Collection offers extraordinary experiences that are exclusive only to our travellers. One of the best-selling itineraries, Majesty of the Rockies, will see guests have the chance to join Olympic skier, Rob Boyd, for an exclusive reception in Whistler – a new addition to our 2019 itinerary, and one we know our travel agents will enjoy selling,” Sharp said.
