This year, Belmond Hotel Cipriani is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a series of unmissable events, including cooking classes in collaboration with Electrolux, hosted by Roberto Gatto, Head Chef at Cip’s Club restaurant.
Each class begins with a visit to the colourful Rialto Market, located next to the historical landmark Rialto Bridge is an authentic culinary hub of Venice and is where locals gather to discover seasonal Venetian produce and catch of the day, in particular frutti di mare. Guests join Chef Roberto who handpicks seasonal products, carefully selecting ingredients used in some of Cip’s Club most loved dishes, including Tagliolini Verdi Gratinati.
They’ll prepare dishes such as Carpaccio Cipriani (Beef carpaccio), Taglierni verdi gratinati al proscuitto (Green pasta au gratin with proscuitto ham), San Pietro alla Carlina (John Dory “alla Carlina” with tomato and pickled Capers), Spumone alla grappa Nonino (Parfait with Nonino grappa).
Participant numbers are capped at a maximum of six (one guest per station), and will operate based on one guest alone.
The cooking class takes place in the gardens followed by a lunch under the new pergola in the hotel’s vineyards.
Classes take place between July and October and start from 350 Euros per person.
