Explore northwestern Australia’s remarkable Kimberley region with Abercrombie & Kent on a 13-day shore hopping expedition aboard the freshly christened Le Lapérouse.
Departing Broome, the Kimberley Cruise: Australia’s Last Frontier itinerary sees clients discovering a vast, untouched wilderness of far-flung islands, stunning tidal waterfalls, bio-diverse coral reefs, riverine mangrove forests, historic Aboriginal sites, cavernous coastal gorges, towering mountain ranges and exotic wildlife. Wind down the expedition with a relaxing day at sea, disembarking in Darwin the following morning.
A&K has exclusively chartered the 184-passenger Le Lapérouse for the one-off departure and has restricted capacity on the ship to just 150. Highlights of the expedition include the Horizontal Falls, a heli-tour of Mitchell Falls, Zodiac excursions that explore the dotted Hunter River, as well as the canyons and twin falls of King George River, and an adventurous flight over the Bungle Bungle Range.
The journey commences on 20 June 2019 and for a limited time, Abercrombie & Kent is offering an early-bird saving of $1,300 per person (in cabin categories 1, 2 and 3).
The lead-in price for a Category 1 Classic Stateroom is now $16,995 per person twin share, while the top-of-the-line Owner’s Balcony Suite – Category 8 is selling for $49,995 per person.
