Hoshino Resorts CEO, Yoshiharu Hoshino, hosted an intimate media lunch on Friday 20 July 2018 during his latest visit to Sydney. Guests were invited to enjoy a taste of traditional Japanese dining in the contemporary ‘izakaya’ style of Toko’s private dining room in Surry Hills. Beautifully presented share plates of sashimi, soft-shell crab, black cod and Japanese desserts set the backdrop for Mr Hoshino’s showcase of the Hoshino Resorts properties and destinations, ranging from Japanese ski resorts to luxury inner-city ryokans (traditional inns).
The flagship, HOSHINOYA Tokyo, celebrates its second anniversary this year and is honoured to be named in the Condé Nast Traveler 2018 Gold List.
In addition, guests learned that HOSHINOYA opens its second ryokan, in the town of Hakone near Mount Fuji, on Friday 27 July, inviting travellers to fall in love with even more Hoshino destinations.
