On Thursday 9 August 2018, Conrad Combrink, Senior Vice President, Strategic Development Expeditions & Experiences at Silversea Cruises, hosted a media lunch at Bennelong Restaurant at The Sydney Opera House to celebrate Silversea Cruises’ 10 years of luxurious and innovative expedition cruising.
Combrink detailed Silversea’s sustainable approach to cruising, which is centred around responsible tourism practices such as a kayaking program for guests to provide an up-close, personal experience. Silversea’s Expeditions Training Academy also aspires to ensure the company offers the best guiding experience.
The Silversea executive confirmed that 2019 will also be the last season in the Kimberley for Silver Discoverer before its returned to its owners.
The event coincided with the release of an exclusive air offer for cruises in the Kimberley next year aboard the 120-passenger Silver Discoverer. Guests who book by 30 September 2018 can take advantage of complimentary Economy class round-trip flights for the voyage, or a special Business class flight promotion of $1,395 per person. Free transfers are also included between the airport and ship.
Silversea offer eight 10-day sailings between Broome and Darwin, operating from April to June.
Early Booking Bonus Fares are also available on reservations made by 31 August 2018, providing a 10% saving.
