Hawaiian Airlines assembled a full house of trade partners from across the industry on Tuesday night (20 November 2018) for a Thanksgiving celebration in Sydney.
Some 170 partners from all sides of the travel sphere – ranging from retail groups to wholesalers, from OTAs to MICE specialists, tour operators to aviation allies – along with a contingent of media congregated at The Hacienda Bar, Pullman Quay Grand, for an evening of networking and celebrating the American holiday while overlooking Circular Quay and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Karen Macmillan, Hawaiian Airlines Director of Sales for Australia and Partnerships Manager Australia and New Zealand gave a mahalo nui loa (sincere thanks) for the generous support the airline has received from the trade during 2018. Macmillan acknowledged the hardworking local Hawaiian team, and noted the airline this month proudly entered its 90th year of continuous service, a milestone “never reached” by some of the world’s most iconic carriers, she said.
She also said the local team was excited for the appointment of Andrew Stanbury, who will join Hawaiian Airlines in January as its new Regional Director, Australia and New Zealand.
Below are some of the happy guests at the Thanksgiving celebration.
