The Melbourne-based travel company which started out initially in 2000 as Executive Edge Travel and morphed into CT Connections Travel Group, has now rebranded as Connections Group of Companies. The change includes a new-look name and corporate ID to mirror the new direction the company is taking with its service offerings in the travel industry.

The name change to Connections Group of Companies further strengthens the core value, spirit and purpose of the group which has offices in Melbourne (head office), Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

Connections Group of Companies’ brands include CT Connections (corporate travel management), Totem Group (conference and events, incentive/group travel experts), Executive Edge Travel (tailor-made personal luxury travel designers) and The Departure Lounge (online travel and lifestyle magazine). All four brands have experienced significant growth in recent times.

The company said, “essentially, the group of brands are all about creating meaningful connections, events, journeys, collaborations and moments for clients through their travel experiences domestically and internationally.

“Boasting an excellent reputation within the travel and service sector as the partner of choice in Australia, all brands have an underlying belief that connection is what drives us all as human beings – connections that give purpose and meaning to our lives. Hence its tagline, ‘Every Connection Counts’, as it adds value to all business partners, clients, suppliers and employees alike.”

Connections Group remains independently owned by Gary Reichenberg, who sits as the Director of the Group and employs 140 people across seven offices in Australia with plans to expand to New Zealand, and collectively draws on more than 18 years’ experience.
