Following a successful 2018 Famil through Piedmont, Italy, Ormina Tours has announced its next Agent Famil to the Australian marketplace. The tour will take 10 selected agents on its popular Malta Regional discovery, giving them the opportunity to experience the spectacular hospitality and services for which Ormina Tours is renowned.
Ormina famils are all about experiencing the trip with loved ones, and selected agents have the opportunity to bring their partner at 50% cost (spaces limited). Otherwise, they can nominate another agent in their agency to join them at no additional cost.
The tour will depart from Valletta, Malta on 23 March following the seven-day historical discovery through some of the world’s most stunning beachside settlements.
Malta offers a huge range of activities in its archipelago and must be experienced to fully appreciate the beauty and history. Here, you’ll find awe-inspiring prehistoric temples dating back over 6,000 years, predating both the Pyramids of Egypt and Stonehenge. The fossil-studded cliffs house a history of remarkable intensity, surrounded by a spectacular backdrop of honey-coloured stone against the deepest of Mediterranean blues.
The famil features a guided tour of Malta’s ‘Three Cities’– Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea– as well as delving into Malta’s archaeological history, visiting the sights of Hagar Qim, Hypogeum and The Phoenician fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Must-see sites of Valleta’s St John’s Co-Cathedral, Mdina, Gozo, and the Blue Grotto are also trip highlights.
“Our Malta package is a popular add-on for many travellers exploring Italy, especially Sicily,” said Ormina Tours CEO Ross Ioppolo. “We’re excited to give agents the opportunity to experience Ormina Tours for themselves and give them a better idea of the unique location they are selling on to their clients.”
For the chance to be selected for the famil, agents must register their interest online and also must have booked and deposited a Small Group Journey or Private Journey to the value of $7,000 nett by 31 January 2019. Selected agents will be advised by February and must commit by 11 February 2019.
