Located on its own private island just 10 minutes from the bustle of St Mark’s Square, the Venetian luxury resort San Clemente Palace Kempinski will open its doors for the fourth season on 20 March 2019. For a stay during the first weeks until 30 April the resort is offering a discount of up to 40% on all suites.
Set among a centuries-old park, antique courtyards and monastery buildings, the 190-room resort has a heated outdoor pool, a pitch & putt golf course, a tennis court, spa and outdoor jogging trails, as well as a kids’ club for younger guests.
Throughout the 2019 season, San Clemente Palace will offer a number of unique offerings for Easter, Spring Break or the Venice Biennale. During the Easter weekend, the resort will offer a special “Kids Stay for Free” package, along with celebratory chocolate egg-decorating workshops and Easter Brunch for the whole family. From 11 May through 4 November 2019, the resort will also offer a special Biennale package including exclusive entrance tickets.
When it comes to culinary, Executive Chef Giorgio Schifferegger is host of the special event “Cena a Quattro Mani” (Four-Hands Dinner), for which he expects four top Michelin-starred guest chefs to cook alongside with him. While Acquarello restaurant offers a refined, creative and gourmet cuisine with modern Venetian- and Italian-inspired dishes, the outdoor lounge Al Bacaro, overlooking the Venetian lagoon and skyline, serves Cichetti (Venetian tapas) and cocktails. Other food events include Wine & Beer pairing menus with locally crafted beer or a pizza tasting evening with Pizza World Champion Gianni Calaon.
