Condé Nast Traveller has revealed its list of vetted, newly opened hotels around the globe for 2019. Four properties made the list in Australia, including The Calile Hotel in Brisbane, United Places in Melbourne, Lon Retreat in Point Lonsdale, Victoria and Paramount House Hotel in Sydney.
Speaking of the complete list, Condé Nast Traveller said: “Most of these openings are… perfectly fine. But only a fraction are what we’d call ‘hot.’ Our army of sleuths spent the last year checking into hundreds of new properties, assessing everything from Wi-Fi strength to rooftop pool scene,” the company said.
Condé Nast Traveller said its list, which also includes cruise lines, includes the “absolute best of the best; the game-changing, boundary pushing” options. The 82 that made the cut this year are as follows:
