Mandarin Oriental, Paris is preparing to reveal a new 430 square-metre 4-bedroom signature suite, dubbed “The Parisian Apartment”. The new suite will be one of the largest in Paris, and will open for reservation from summer 2019.

Designed by the acclaimed French agency Gilles & Boissier, the suite is an elegant and exceptionally spacious apartment with Parisian influences and magnificent perspectives, and overlooks the hotel’s lush inner garden and the rue Saint-Honoré.

The suite mixes codes and influences, showcasing light, transparency, comfort, calm and elegance without ostentation. It has four elegant bedrooms and bathrooms, an expansive reception area, a bright dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.

Inspired by the French gardens, 230 square-metre private terrace is a serene sanctuary from the bustling city.

Situated on the sixth floor of the hotel, the two newest suites at Mandarin Oriental, Paris, the 2-bedrooms “Parisian Terrace Suite” and the 2-bedrooms “Garden Terrace Suite” create, when combined, the 4-
bedrooms suite “The Parisian Apartment”.

The 4-bedrooms suite takes inspiration of the Haussmann style as much as those of Art-Déco. The 1900s
mouldings combine with wooden architectural features reminiscent of the 1930s.

The blonde parquet flooring, inspired by the Herringbone style, are partly covered with thick carpets depicting geometric patterns. The leather-covered pivot doors evoke memories of spectacular antique Chinese panels, while the furniture, custom designed by Patrick Gilles, will be made from a variety of different types of wood and silky fabrics.

For this newest suite at the hotel, landscape designers Christophe Gautrand & Associates have imagined an authentic 230 sqm (2475 sqf) Parisian terrace inspired by French gardens.
