Since its opening in 2008, The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills has boasted an atmosphere of British style flawlessly inspired by Southern California. Modern luxury is woven subtly into every aspect of the hotel, from the entrance and lobby to the garden-inspired rooftop pool deck and private terraces.
The hotel features 226 recently renovated suites, a 110-seat screening room, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and an 11,000 square-foot bi-level Penthouse Inspired by Vivienne Westwood: the largest penthouse in Los Angeles. All of the LWH suites offer an open floor-plan meant to take advantage of the inspiring views of the Hollywood Hills or towards the Los Angeles skyline. The panoramic rooftop pool deck offers private cabanas, a separate fire pit, as well as cocktails and light bites. The Alex Roldan Salon offers hair, nail and makeup services and unforgettable retail purchases in the Alex Roldan Shop adjacent.
Distinctive culinary venues helmed by Chef Anthony Keene include the hotel’s signature restaurant Boxwood, London Bar, Sitting Room and rooftop poolside dining. Both The London Bar and Boxwood restaurant delight patrons with British-inspired cocktails and California shared plates, providing the ideal experience for locals, travellers and members of the entertainment industry. The comfortable and welcoming Sitting Room offers a space for guests to relax and work while enjoying the restaurant’s all-day dining. Guests can also reserve Afternoon Tea on the weekends in the Sitting Room and enjoy daily complimentary breakfast each morning.
What’s New:
Meet Winston & Churchill
Named for the iconic British Prime Minister, Winston & Churchill, a dynamic English Bulldog duo now call the pet-friendly Los Angeles property their full-time home. Twice a day, guests have the chance to meet, greet and play with the hotel’s four-legged friends in their favourite hangout, Hampton Court: an intimate and beautiful outdoor space with views of the Hollywood Hills and Sunset Strip. Guests will also see them on their many daily walks around the property, or sometimes lounging poolside at the hotel’s famed rooftop pool. Groups who would like to have them make a debut at their event are able to book by making a $250 donation to the local Los Angeles animal shelter on their behalf.
New in F&B
In Spring 2019, The London debuted a brand new, family-friendly Magical Tea, a unicorn-themed tea experience full of colourful treats and teas for parents to share with their little ones. The menu, devised by Chef Anthony Keene, is a vibrant array of cupcakes, French doughnuts, cotton candy, peanut butter and jelly macaroons, blueberry smoothies and much more. The fanciful bites are paired with premium teas from The Rare Tea Company, the hotel’s tea partner and the exclusive tea of the Royal Family. This special tea is served Saturdays and Sundays, 1:00-4:00pm, in the Sitting Room and priced at $18.00 per person, which also includes some fun, take-home goodies for the little ones. This year, in addition to regular poolside dining and poolside bar, The London will introduce a brand new rooftop lounge adjacent to the pool deck that serves cocktails, small bites and inventive and refreshing items like spirit-infused popsicles. The lounge will be open to both hotel guests and the public during the week throughout the summer months.
