Inaugural 'Sales and Service Awards' celebrate ITG's top achievers

In a night of recognition for trailblazing achievements, Gold-Coast-based Ignite Travel Group has celebrated its inaugural ‘Sales and Service Awards’ with a cocktail evening honouring the outstanding sales and customer support agents who service the company’s key business divisions My Holiday Centre, My Cruises and Holiday Exclusives.

The glittery themed event on 5 July was hosted by Sea World on the Gold Coast and supported by key sponsors and long-standing partners Marriott International, Scoot, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and SKYE Finance.

Awards were presented across the categories of Leading Department Agent, Top Seller, Department Novice and Ignite Agent of the Year. The visionary travel marketing company awarded several high-achieving consultants nominated for their professional accomplishments, leading sales results and continued dedication to pursuing innovative solutions for both customers and the wider Ignite Travel Group team.

My Holiday Centre Sales and Operations Manager Anthony Vine said the evening was a resounding success with the celebration now planned to be an annual event on the Ignite Travel Group calendar.

“Evenings like this are a great opportunity to take a moment and recognise not only the talented individuals who have delivered exceptional results but the entire team at Ignite for all their hard work, commitment and dedication to proudly being an industry-leading trailblazer,” Vine said.

Bringing a memorable line-up of entertainment for its staff and sponsor representatives, Ignite Travel Group marked the special occasion with an evening of dancing and accolades in the heart of the theme park, rewarding an all-around collective effort of hard work, determination and accomplishment.

Highlighting achievements of excellence and best practice within the business, the evening was a first-of-its-kind event for the company which in 2019 has received recognition across both industry and consumer awards, most recently winning ‘Disruptor of the Year, 2019’ at the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards.
