Small Luxury Hotels of the World has introduced a new travel agency program in partnership with a hand-picked selection of some of the “very best travel agencies in the world”, including Goldman Group’s Smartflyer in Australia.
Called ‘withIN’, the exclusive travel community has been curated by Small Luxury Hotels of the World’s global sales team and will have access to the best available rates, along with “special benefits and upgrades”, the company said.
A total of 360 travel agencies have joined the program including 8 Continents Travel (China), RASK Travel (UK), Atelier Voyage (Germany), Protravel International (USA) and Superviagem (Brazil).
Newly launched this month, the withIN program is now bookable via the GDS and the SLH Voice reservations team, with a dedicated travel agent website expected to launch in Q1 2020. Affiliated travel agencies are granted commission levels at 10% on standard room types and 15% on suites (subject to a minimum of two nights). Travel agencies signed up to the program are also able to secure highly attractive benefits for their customers including:
- Complimentary daily breakfast for two people
- Room upgrade to next room category (subject to availability at the time of check-in)
- Early check-in/late check-out (subject to availability at the time of check-in)
- A credit worth minimum $50 per room, per stay to be spent on non-accommodation extras such as food & beverage and spa on property
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
To date, 235 SLH hotels have signed up to be involved in withIN, including The Celino South Beach, Miami; Ovolo The Valley, Brisbane; Vintry & Mercer, London and The Outpost Hotel Sentosa, Singapore.
“We strongly believe in investing in our partnership approach to working with the best travel agencies so our relationship with them continues to go from strength to strength,” said Carsten Lima, Vice President of Sales for Small luxury Hotels of the World (EMEA).
“With the launch of withIN, we are making this partnership approach bigger and better, so that selected travel agencies working with us benefit from even more opportunities to promote and sell our participating SLH hotels regardless of luxury network affiliation”.
Anthony Goldman, Joint Managing Director of Goldman Travel Corporation, told LATTE, he was thrilled that Smartflyer was chosen as one of the launch partners of withIN.
“We are happy to be an inaugural partner of SLH’s preferred agency program. We work with a wide variety of SLH hotels and this program will further enhance the experience for our clients at their many wonderful hotels,” Goldman said.
