Here's what to expect aboard Evergreen Cruises & Tours' new Mekong River ship

Evergreen Cruises & Tours has released images of Emerald Harmony, its first Star-Ship to cruise the Mekong River. The ship, which welcomed her first guests on board on 31 August 2019, is the line’s first custom-built Star-Ship outside of Europe and has been specially designed to cruise into Ho Chi Minh City, offering river access into the heart of the city.

The images showcase the spacious suites and public areas, the sun and pool decks, the Horizon Bar & Lounge, the Lotus Lounge and the Reflections Restaurant.


Guests can still join Emerald Harmony for its inaugural season travelling through Vietnam and Cambodia. Itineraries include:

17 day Treasures & Temples of Vietnam & Cambodia – Eight-day cruise with two nights in Hanoi before a magical two-night cruise through the wonders of Halong Bay, two nights in Ho Chi Minh City and three nights in Siem Reap. Starting from $5,495pp*. Save up to $2,500 per couple*

21 day Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia  – Make the most of your time in Vietnam and enjoy an additional three nights in beautiful Hoi An and one night in the imperial city of Hue. Starting from $6,495pp*. Save up to $2,500 per couple*

In a move set to replicate initiatives across Evergreen’s European fleet, Emerald Harmony will become the first Star-Ship to remove the use of all single-use plastic on board. Initiatives include providing all guests with a complementary metal water bottle to refill from water stations on the Star-Ship, provision of glass water bottles in the cabins, using bamboo and paper straws in the Reflections Restaurant & Horizon Bar and replacing the miniature bathroom amenities bottles with refillable dispensers.
