Over 1,100 travel advisors out in force for Viking Vör

15 events for new-to-Viking frontline sellers

Viking has concluded its biggest ever Viking Vör trade training roadshow, hosting more than 1,100 agents at 15 entertaining evening events around the country, including brand-new destinations like the Central Coast in NSW, Mornington Peninsula in Victoria and Launceston in Tasmania.

Plus, the award-winning small-ship cruise line gave away a record number of prizes to lucky travel agents, including over 40 cruises, more than 450,000 Rewards by Viking bonus points and plenty of bottles of bubbly.

“We’re incredibly grateful to all our travel partners for taking the time to come along and learn about what makes us different. For example, did you know that with a Viking fare, there are no non-commissionable fees – you earn commission on the total amount, including any Viking pre- or post-cruise extensions, ” said Keira Smith, Viking’s National Sales Manager for Australia.

“A special shout out to all our cruise winners – happy sailing, we can’t wait to welcome you onboard!” she said.

Leighton Schembri of Goldman Group said the event was a terrific departure from the ordinary. “What a fun and fabulous way to educate and excite our industry about Viking. I came away with plenty of knowledge to help me grow the business and would highly recommend attending next year. Thanks Viking!” he said.

The events were designed for new-to-Viking agents, as well as those keen to brush up on the latest in product knowledge for the award-winning cruise line.

Named after the Norse goddess of wisdom, Vör, at each event agents were treated to the latest on Viking’s expansive worldwide product over a two-course meal and drinks.
