Coming soon: Botania Relais & Spa, Italy

The former Garden & Villas Resort in Ischia to be reborn

A newly transformed resort destination will re-open as Botania Relais & Spa in Ischia, Italy in April 2020.

The former Garden & Villas Resort is currently undergoing major renovation and enhancements to the guest experience during the seasonal closure of the popular holiday location for Australians from October to April.

Upon reopening on 1 April 2020, the five-star Botania Relais & Spa will feature 49 rooms, including 10 villas, while suite interiors will be increased to a minimum 32 square metres up to 68 square metres.

All rooms are being refurbished to offer increased comfort and space and will each feature a terrace or outdoor loggia overlooking the garden or sea ideal for relaxation and siestas, a mini-bar with complimentary soft drinks, coffee machine and Wi-Fi.

A new restaurant, Il Mirto, presenting a diverse array of vegetarian dishes, will complement the cuisine available at the resort’s popular Il Corbezzolo, which will continue to present guest favourites including delectable pizzas from a traditional wood-fired oven, salads, light pastas, grilled meats and fish and the freshest of locally sourced vegetables.

The new spa will unveil an expanded range of regenerative and innovative anti-stress and slimming treatments in addition to the exercise regimes available at gym and steam baths set in a striking natural cave. The spa will host morning yoga classes while personal trainers will also available for private yoga or jogging sessions.

Other new guest activities will include cooking classes, gardening courses and artisan ceramic creation.
