URBNSURF will be making a splash at AIME 2020, which kicks off in a month’s time. Australia’s first surf park will exhibit at its first ever trade show, with event attendees offered an exclusive first look at the $28.3 million development.
Delegates keen to make waves at their next corporate function will have an exciting chance to learn more about the only Wavegarden Cove pool in the southern hemisphere.
Located at Tullamarine, the massive lagoon pumps out six waves every 45 seconds, while stadium lighting will see visitors able to surf never-ending barrels until 10pm, year-round. The attraction caters for up to a maximum of 84 people in the pool at the same time and has different waves to suit different abilities.
Opening in Melbourne earlier this month, URBNSURF will offer world-class surf waves, while an on-site restaurant by Three Blue Ducks – plus retail and bars – is set to turn the experience up a notch.
Meanwhile, AIME has released its fourth and final video teaser for the event, featuring commentary from Jay Martens, Event Director of Talk2 Media & Events; Matt Pearce, CEO of Talk2 Media & Events; and Peter Haycroft, Executive Chef at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
