Adventure World Travel has launched what it is referring to as “the largest brochure dedicated to Scandinavia in the Australian market”. AWT’s debut program for the region was flagged in November last year.
Being true to the Adventure World Travel ethos and brand pillars, the brand-new collection has a focus on wildlife, cultural and active experiences, enabling travellers to fully immerse themselves in the region.
Neil Rodgers, Managing Director of Adventure World Travel said, “Our aim was never to launch a collection that was a replica of existing offerings, but rather to introduce a new portfolio of tailor-made independent trips that explored Scandinavia in-depth.”
Providing out-of-the-ordinary experiences, travellers are inspired to explore beyond the normal routes with the collection providing extraordinary travel experiences. The nine-day Classic Lapland itinerary will see guests get up close and personal with the ancient culture and history of the Sámi people, while the 15-day Handpicked Scandinavia is an extensive journey that can be personalised for each guest, covering four countries and some of Scandinavia’s finest backdrops, travelling from scenic capitals to breathtaking fjords, mountains, and quiet villages.
The collection also offers a diverse portfolio of active options such as the seven-day Norway Fjord Trekking where guests explore the lesser visited fjords the country has to offer including Trolltunga, Lofoten and the bird paradise Faroe Islands. There is also a new active twist on the classic Norway in a Nutshell itinerary which includes biking from Myrdal to Flam and an experience on the longest zipline in Scandinavia.
The new Scandinavia collection is available now via Brochure Flow or ordering online at adventureworld.com
