On Saturday 1 February, Scenic Group welcomed over 250 industry guests to the 2020 Night of Stars gala at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney, hosted by Stevie Jacobs. The annual event celebrates the company’s top performing travel agencies and consultants from Australia and New Zealand.
In recognition of the inaugural season of Scenic Eclipse, and the development of a new category of ultra-luxury travel, the ‘ocean’ theme focused on Scenic Group’s passion and commitment to providing enriching experiences to its guests.
The night’s most noteworthy announcements included the launch of polar cruiser Scenic Eclipse in 2022, which is being made with every option possible, the company building its own shipyard in Croatia and the upcoming debut of the new Scenic Group superyacht in 2021, which will reach hard-to-access Mediterranean villages.
During the ceremony, 10 agents were awarded Diamond status for 2019 – as part of Scenic’s specialist partner program – who combined sold over $10 million that year.
Guests enjoyed an indulgent spread, with pumpkin, saffron gnocchi to start; a main course of Tasmanian salmon fillet or Roast Rangers Valley beef fillet with tarragon butter; and a variety of desserts including cannoli, sour cream curd tarts or profiteroles.
LATTE would like to congratulate all the nights’ winners.
