Traveller Made postpones The Essence of Luxury Travel

Ultra-luxury travel network delays 2020 event for 12 months

Traveller Made has confirmed the postponement of the 2020 Essence of Luxury Travel show in Marbella, Spain until 2021.

In an email to registered partners, Quentin Desurmont, Founder and President of the global luxury travel community said that after consultation with primary stakeholders in Spain, he was expecting credits would be granted by the event hosts to be carried over to the 2021 event.

All registered partners for this year’s event who had fully paid their fees are being provided with free access to the Essence of Luxury Travel in 2021, with a date yet to be communicated.

As an added perk and to maintain partnerships between suppliers and buyers who were attending the 2020 show, Traveller Made is providing delegates with the possibility to register for “virtual one-to-one meetings” taking place from 23-27 March 2020. There will be no cost for the virtual show in 2020.

“We understand that many of you will have to dedicate their time to unpleasant cost management, client cancellations and other time-consuming and stressful tasks and there is obviously no obligation to join. However, we kindly ask you to consider participating as an act of solidarity for the Traveller Made community. We are working hard on this creative last-minute project for the benefit of our community,” Desurmont said.

“In these very tough times, the whole Traveller Made team is mobilised to constantly think of how to adapt and to keep helping our entire community,” he concluded.
