Langham Hospitality Group has confirmed plans to open a luxury hotel on Queensland’s Gold Coast at the end of 2021. The project was foreshadowed by LATTE 10 months ago.
The Langham, Gold Coast will be the group’s third hotel in Australia and will feature 169 rooms and suites. It will also manage the Jewel Residences by The Langham which comprises 170 serviced apartments.
Located on the beachfront in Surfers Paradise, the hotel and serviced apartments are in the central and tallest of the three landmark towers of the Jewel development.
The Langham, Gold Coast is located between the third and 20th floors while the residences are on the 22nd to 49th floors offering city and ocean views. All 18 suites at The Langham feature 180-degree uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean.
“Combining the cosmopolitan vibrancy and relaxed lifestyle for which the Gold Coast is renowned will certainly position The Langham as the quintessential luxury urban resort,” says Stefan Leser, CEO of Langham Hospitality Group.
The Langham, Gold Coast will feature restaurants, a casual café, a lobby lounge, a pool bar and a podium sky terrace with bar overlooking the ocean.
The brand’s signature afternoon tea will be served at Palm Court, the lobby lounge and bar.
Chuan Spa will offer treatments inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophies in a tranquil, meditative setting, home to seven private treatment rooms as well as a health and beauty centre and gym and outdoor swimming pool.
Guests staying at The Jewel Residences by The Langham will have full access to the hotel’s facilities. These spacious apartments feature private balconies with sunrise and sunset views that face either the city or the ocean. Suitable for couples, families or big travel parties, the luxury serviced apartments offer one-, two-, three- and four-bedrooms options.
