“During the last few months, as our normal operations have paused, we have been dreaming up and handcrafting new Australian and New Zealand journeys. Now that Australian domestic and trans-Tasman travel appears closer on the horizon, we look forward with anticipation in once again being able to deliver incredible journeys to our guests,” the Captain’s Choice website states.
Each itinerary offers unique perspectives, exploring remote regions with routes and itineraries that are only made possible on private aircraft. As with all Captain’s Choice private jet journeys, groups are small and guests are accompanied at every stage by a Tour Manager and a Tour Doctor to ensure convenience and flexibility as well as health and safety. Tour Doctor will check all guest temperatures on the day of departure and, as required, and will be equipped with masks and other hygienic equipment to assist with cleanliness throughout the trips.
“Captain’s Choice was one of the first in the world to introduce Private Jet journeys, and at a time when travel is local, is opening up new destinations, new experiences and new ways to explore our own magnificent country,” said Captain’s Choice CEO Bas Bosschieter. “Now more than ever, we endeavour to curate fresh wonders for our clients, delivering inspired moments”.
Along with their Domestic program, Captain’s Choice has for the first time introduced a range of ‘Interludes’ – short journeys within Australia flying privately chartered aircraft, commencing in October 2020.
Designed for those who love adventure but are short on time, Captain’s Choice plan to host small groups for once-in-a-lifetime experiences of just five days or less, travelling to remote regions and covering vast distances.
Interludes are designed to distil the essence of a Captain’s Choice journey into a thrilling few days.
A Weekend in the Outback is a two-day sojourn from either Brisbane or Sydney that takes in the subterranean wonders of Coober Pedy, the breathtaking spectacle of Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre and a barbecue the iconic Birdsville pub. The trip is priced at $3,750 per person.
Opera at Uluru by Private Jet gives guests the opportunity to witness a breathtaking opera performance, set in the fabled Field of Lights with Uluru as a backdrop. It is priced at $4,250 per person.
Meanwhile, Captain’s Choice has revised its booking conditions to add greater flexibility for guests. For bookings made between 1 June 2020 and 31 October 2020, the deposit requirements will be:
