Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is expanding its Italian portfolio, securing a management deal to open its first island resort in the European country. Rosewood Porto Cervo will open on Sardinia in 2022, joining sister properties in Tuscany (Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco) and Venice (Rosewood Venice, opening in 2022) as the group’s third opening in Italy.
Rosewood Porto Cervo will be located just outside the commune sharing the same name in Costa Smeralda, Italy’s jet-set destination known for its white sand beaches and turquoise water.

The three-storey resort will feature 65 guest rooms, including 26 suites, all complemented by stunning 180-degree ocean views of the Mediterranean Sea.
The resort will be designed as a sanctuary for renewal and rejuvenation, offering signature spa journeys and body therapies. In addition to strolling through the resort’s lush gardens and along alluring coastlines, guests can spend their afternoons basking by the outdoor pool or working out at the fitness centre.
Guests will also be able to take advantage of the resort’s private pier to conveniently access Porto Cervo town by boat and explore the area’s lively social scene and natural beauty.
