Cordis Hotels and Resorts will celebrate its fifth anniversary next week, launching a months-long campaign consisting of a suite of exclusive perks and experiences, including special limited-time offers, Chairman Suite or Private Villa takeovers, and an Art in Residence travelling exhibition.
Langham Hospitality Group launched its “approachable luxury” hotel brand on 26 August 2015 with the Cordis Hong Kong. The brand has since expanded to Shanghai, Beijing, Ningbo and Auckland. Four additional properties are also in the pipeline, including a second hotel in Shanghai (East Bund) and Hangzhou.
The High Five with Cordis promotion incorporates a collection of five exclusive experiences, as well as $5,000 packages providing unparalleled access to Cordis at the hotel’s local neighbourhoods.
Cordis will also unveil a travelling recycled art exhibition in October that the group says “reinforces Cordis’ appreciation of local cultures and commitment to sustainability at every one of our destinations”.
Five exclusive experiences at five locations
From 26 to 31 August 2020, guests can make bookings to enhance their stay (until 31 March 2021) with a curated selection of five experiences to explore the hotel and its vibrant destination. From wine tasting classes in Hong Kong and afternoon tea in Shanghai to Maori performances at a museum in Auckland, a morning run at West Park with a certified trainer in Beijing and a Hanling Street tour in Ningbo and more, Cordis’ complimentary signature experiences will offer guests creative new ways to explore local districts.
To further sweeten the deal, bookings made during this period will entitle guests to an upgrade to the next room or suite category, daily breakfast and specially-priced dining and spa offers.
Top suite takeovers
Elevating guest experience to the zenith, ‘Stay and Give Me Wow’ features the best that Cordis has to offer. For $5,000 (in local currency), guests have the unique opportunity to book a stay in Cordis’ top suites and pool villas, coupled with a host of bespoke experiences and exclusive privileges to enhance the stay.
At Cordis, Hong Kong, the HK$5,000 package includes a one-night takeover of the expansive 126-square-metre Chairman Suite, a dinner for two at the one Michelin-starred Ming Court as well as a relaxing treatment for two at the award-winning Chuan Spa.
Taking luxury to a whole new level, the NZ$5,000 package at Cordis, Auckland features an indulgent two-night stay at the Presidential Suite, a five-course in-room degustation dinner for two, a bottle of Cristal champagne, a private helicopter ride to Waiheke Island as well as a winery tour with wine tasting, among a suite of amenities and services tailor-made to the guests.
In mainland China, RMB5,000 will entitle guests to a luxurious one-night stay – along with dining experiences and spa treatments – at Cordis, Dongqian Lake, Ningbo’s Lake View Pool Villa; Cordis, Shanghai, Hongqiao’s Chairman Suite; and Cordis, Beijing Capital Airport’s Presidential Suite.
All the packages will be available to book starting 26 August 2020.
The Colours of Travel, a touring exhibition, will open at Cordis, Shanghai, Hongqiao in October 2020, before travelling to the rest of the Cordis destinations.
