Songbird launches Sunday brunch

The Ritz-Carlton Perth dishes up rooftop delights starting early October

The Ritz-Carlton, Perth is introducing a curated Sunday Brunch package at its rooftop bar and lounge, Songbird. From 4 October, hotel guests and locals can delight in the open skies and views of Elizabeth Quay and the Perth skyline while enjoying free-flowing wine or Veuve Clicquot alongside the finest culinary delights in Western Australia.

Since opening in November 2019, Songbird has become a favourite destination to gather for food and drinks, recognised for its informal grazing menu influenced by local bounty from both the land and sea. Guests can get together with close friends, dress up and settle in at Songbird for a day of sunshine and celebrations with live music to set the scene.

Showcasing the finest Western Australian wines from leading Margaret River winery Cape Mentelle, guests can soak up the atmosphere and admire the picturesque setting Songbird has to offer while having the unique opportunity to interact with and immerse themselves in the talented craftsmanship of the Chefs at the live food stations.

Exquisite local cuisine from suppliers across the region have been hand-selected and curated into a special menu by Executive Chef Jed Gerrard, to ensure there will be no turning back from this Sunday brunch.

To start the culinary journey, show-stopping canapés will be served around including potato pikelets with leg ham and fried quail egg, twice-cooked hen’s egg with chilli caramel and Thai basil, as well as a selection of sweets. Special dietaries will be met also.

At the barbecue station, the Chefs will be plating up Mottainai lamb with sheep’s curd, mint and cumin, the famed Wagyu beef open sandwich and house-smoked slab bacon, mustard and cured egg yolk sandwich.

The seafood station will showcase some of Western Australia’s finest and freshest seafood from Shark Bay scallops with yuzu kosho to king prawns served with avocado and horseradish. The house-made crumpets with smoked local fish and soft herbs is an innovative new take on an old favourite.

With three different beverage packages to choose from, Songbird turns Sunday Brunch into an occasion for celebration.

  • $145 per person for Mocktail package
  • $195 per person for Sparkling Package including select Cape Mentelle Wines, Chandon Brut and Signature Belvedere Cocktails
  • $245 per person for Veuve Clicquot Package including select Cape Mentelle Wines, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Veuve Clicquot Rose and signature Belvedere Cocktails
