Oceania Cruises has re-launched its popular ‘Agent Bring Client’ (ABC) event series to be held in November and December, 2020. In addition, the culinary-focused cruise line is also running a series of exclusive live and virtual High Teas, co-hosted by select agency partners in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, and Adelaide.
Designed to bring the onboard High Tea experience to guests, Oceania Cruises recently held its first High Tea event at the elegant Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast, hosted by James Sitters, Business Development Manager for Oceania Cruises, QLD, WA, and NT. Attended by valued O Club members and their guests, attendees got to enjoy deluxe refreshments with champagne, while taking a deep-dive into Oceania Cruises’ unique offering and curated travel experiences.
“Our first High Tea was a huge success and provided a welcome opportunity to personally reconnect with our loyal guests after seven long months – all while social distancing. Whether it be in person or virtually, we can’t wait to roll out the remaining events across Australia and New Zealand,” said James Sitters.
Guests attending High Teas virtually won’t miss out, with specially curated High Tea in a Box packages – featuring a selection of sweet and savoury pastries, scones with jam, champagne and tea – delivered straight to their doorstep or office on the day of their event.
Attendees at Oceania Cruises’ popular ABC events in November and December will be among the first to learn about the cruise line’s new sailings and destinations in the new 2022 Europe and North America Collection, which launches on 12 November, 2020.
“Our past guests and their agents are our greatest ambassadors, and there is significant pent-up demand to start sailing with Oceania Cruises again as soon as cruising resumes,” explained Jason Worth, Vice President, Australia & New Zealand at Oceania Cruises.
“Our ABC events provide an opportunity for loyal past guests to re-discover what makes us so unique, from exquisitely crafted cuisine to curated travel experiences and small ship luxury. Guests will also gain some insight into our new 2022 collection and have the opportunity to be rewarded with reduced deposits, bonus shipboard credit and other incentives,” Worth added.
