SeaDream Yacht Club has responded to demand for extended-stay voyages by offering a new month-long “SeaDream Residency at Sea Program”.
The super-yacht operator says guests have been asking about extended voyages in the Caribbean, beyond SeaDream’s typical seven-day itinerary.
“[Guests] are in no rush to leave the safety of our yacht and the pampering experience of SeaDream’s signature service,” the operator said in a newsletter to past passengers.
“What better way to spend this winter season than sailing the warm waters of the West Indies onboard SeaDream?”
The SeaDream Residency caters for travellers who want to extend their stay on four or more back-to-back voyages, or 28+ days of sailing. SeaDream will also offer discounts and special promotions for those that linger longer.
The Residence at Sea Program includes a 25% discount off the regular daily rate, a 25% discount on premium wines and liquor, 50% discount on laundry and WiFi, plus guests will receive two weekly Spa Appointments (valued up to US$400 per stateroom).
Unfortunately for Australian cruisers, who are currently banned from travelling abroad, the Residency promo is valid for itineraries from 7 November 2020 through to 3 April 2021.
The ship will relocate to the Mediterranean until early November 2021.
And yes, the product is commissionable to travel advisors.
