Ultra-luxury hospitality company, Aman, is adding a second property in Italy.
Aman’s new Partner Hotel deal with Rosa Alpina Hotel & Spa in San Cassiano will be the first-of-its-kind for the brand.
Rosa Alpina will benefit from Aman’s marketing services and sales and gain on-the-ground marketing, over the next 18 months.
The hotel, which sits beneath the majestic peaks of Lavarella and Conturines, has been under the ownership of the Pizzinini family for three generations. The family has lived at the property since 1939.
Similarly, Aman’s other Italy property Aman Venice has been home to the Arrivabene family for more than 200 years.

2022 and beyond
After significant future investment, the long-term partnership will see Rosa Alpina become a fully branded Aman in December 2022.
In line with the Aman philosophy, Rosa Alpina offers subtle glamour, exceptional service and expansive spaces. It will prove a sanctuary for guests wishing to explore the breathtaking surroundings.
The Dolomites Hotel is three hours north of Venice by car. Guests will have easy access to one of the largest ski areas in Italy. The vast Dolomiti Superski and Sella Ronda networks have runs for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.

A stylish sanctuary
Guests who stay in Rosa Alpina’s 52 rooms and suites will have access to 1,200 kilometres of ski slopes in winter. In in summer and autumn, visitors can hike bike or climb through Dolomites’ dramatic valleys.
Rosa Alpina also has an on-site 3-star Michelin restaurant, St. Hubertus which serves indulgent Italian cuisine. The hotel’s Executive Chef, Norbert Niederkofler will to continue with Aman, having served as a consultant at Aman Venice since 2019.
The hotel’s garden-level spa, indoor pool, gym and hammam provide a place of peace, synonymous with that of an Aman.
Rosa Alpina will open for the winter season on 11 December 2020, closing 5 April 2021.
