Dorchester Collection has provided an update on its AED 2.5+ billion hotel under development on the banks of the Dubai Canal. The Residences, Dorchester Collection, Dubai will be the ultra-luxury hospitality company’s tenth hotel and first in the Middle East.
The ritzy brand aligned with Dubai developer Ominyat several years ago to reveal the luxury property.
It is the first and only Dorchester hotel and residence built exclusively and uniquely, from start to finish, to encapsulate completely the glamorous style, its extraordinary service, absolute refinement and celebrity status.

The Residences, Dorchester Collection, Dubai will feature 225 guest rooms and suites, a luxury spa, gym and rooftop bar with an infinity edge pool.
Work at the site is over 60% complete. The development includes a retail precinct as well as F&B outlets.
Managed by Dorchester Collection and located in Downtown Dubai, the development will set the benchmark for the ultimate city lifestyle.
The project will span two interconnected towers, one housing the Dorchester Collection hotel and the other a residential tower for the elite. The 32-storey residential tower will have 39 fully furnished residences, ranging from 360 square metres to a 940 square metres, with two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments.
Additionally, situated on the 30th, 31st and 32nd floors, The Residences, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, offers six elegant four- and five-bedroom penthouses exclusively designed to create a private, high-quality and lavish lifestyle statement for the world’s luxury cognoscenti. Consisting of a huge 1,644 square metres, the penthouses will have uninterrupted views of the sea. Each will also have its own swimming pool.
The Residences, Dorchester Collection, Dubai is earmarked to open in the second half of 2022.
