The new ocean-going super yacht Emerald Azzurra from Emerald Cruises was floated out for the first time last weekend at The Halong Shipbuilding Company in Vietnam, marking just over a year until guests will be able to set sail on the upmarket vessel.
Emerald Azzurra is the first custom-built ocean super yacht launched by Emerald Cruises, sister company to Evergreen Tours and Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours.
The ship will now set sail on 28 January 2022, on an eight-day ‘Best of the Red Sea’ itinerary.
Once Emerald Azzurra is complete, guests will enjoy a luxury small-ship cruising experience, with the super yacht carrying just 100 passengers in 50 deluxe suites and staterooms, with nearly 90 per cent of cabins featuring a balcony.
As well as having access to small ports and harbours that large ships cannot access, guests will have the opportunity to taste local flavours and cocktails while taking in views from one of the three stunning bars and restaurants.
