Accor has unveiled plans to evolve the Denalo brand through a partnership with Katara Hospitality.
The strategic alignment will see the introduction of the Maison Delano brand and a debut property to open in Paris in 2022.
Maison Delano Paris will be located in the heart of the prestigious 8th arrondissement in an 18th century mansion at 4 Rue d’Anjou.
Just steps away from the famous Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the hotel – operating as Buddha-Bar Hotel, Paris until its business suspension in March 2020 – will offer 56 rooms and suites, a restaurant and bar nestled in the mansion’s historical courtyard. The hotel will be refurbished over the next year.
Katara Hospitality is a Qatari hotel owner, developer and operator. It owns or operates a portfolio of more than 40 properties around the world, including both The Peninsula, Paris and Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris.
“Katara Hospitality’s vision is to build a hand-picked selection of leading hotels in key destinations around the world. Maison Delano is the ideal opportunity to grow our footprint in this vibrant and exciting market,” said Andrew Humphries, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Katara Hospitality.
Gaurav Bhushan, CEO of Accor’s Lifestyle Brands said: “Maison Delano Paris marks the evolution of the Delano brand, bringing a luxurious experience to the centre of the world’s most exciting cities. We couldn’t be prouder to launch this concept with our partners at Katara Hospitality.”
Delano’s luxury lifestyle destination properties include Delano South Beach Miami and Delano Las Vegas.
Maison Delano will boast a new food and beverage concept by world renowned chef Dani Garcia which will provide guests with an oasis in the centre of bustling cities and feature unparalleled accommodations, cuisine and mixology experiences.
