Silversea teams up with Qantas
Partnering with Qantas, and for the first time in Silversea’s history, guests in the UK and USA will enjoy a door-to-door service, providing private executive transfers from their own front door to the airport, private assistance at the gate/lounge and airline lounge entry ahead of Qantas Business class flights to Sydney.
On arrival in Sydney, travellers will then experience VIP arrival assistance, private executive transfers and priority embarkation on Silver Shadow.
For Australian clients, they will be offered the same premium Qantas experience on their return from Fort Lauderdale at the culmination of the cruise.

Destinations to be unlocked
From Sydney, Silver Shadow will head directly to Hobart – a first-time destination for a World Cruise – and then New Zealand for a 10-day in-depth exploration of Tasmania and the Land of the Long White Cloud.
Beyond New Zealand, the ultra-luxury yacht will chart a course through the South Pacific, onto Papua New Guinea, Manila, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Seychelles, Zanzibar, Madagascar, Mauritius, South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Senegal, Cape Verde, a transatlantic crossing, the Amazon (another first for a World Cruise) and the Caribbean, before concluding in Florida.
Along the way guests will be treated to inspiring performances, events and celebrations.
“We are continuously seeking innovative ways to nurture our strong relationships with our guests, Silversea’s extended family, as we await the moment in which we can be reunited aboard our ships once more,” said Roberto Martinoli, President and CEO of Silversea Cruises.
The program was announced in a production replicating a cinematic film, narrated by Fernando Barroso de Oliveira, Silversea’s President’s Ambassador to the Venetian Society. The production incorporated 18 sets and was filmed over five-weeks. View the near half-hour ‘South Side Story’ production on the above YouTube link, or click here.
Silversea’s 2023 World Cruise is currently available exclusively to the ultra-luxury cruise line’s Venetian Society members. General sales begin on 17 March 2021.
