Seabourn has revealed details on some of the special events that will take place during the upcoming 145-day 2022 World Cruise: Extraordinary Horizons, aboard Seabourn Sojourn.
The lineup, available exclusively to guests who book the full voyage, offers tours, performances and dinners at destinations including a battleship in historic Pearl Harbour, Hawaii; a sculpture museum and garden in Keelung (Taipei), Taiwan; and the moonlit beaches of the Maldives.
Scheduled to depart Los Angeles on 11 January, 2022 and arrive in Athens, Greece on 6 June, 2022, the journey will see guests cross two oceans, visit 72 ports, and explore 28 countries, with 20 overnight stays along the way.
Prices for the full 145-day voyage are priced from US$66,999 per person twin share in an Ocean View Suite (Category A), through to US$189,999 in the Owner’s Suite. Terms and conditions apply.

Guests booked on the full World Cruise will enjoy a handful of authentic and intimate evening events, including:
Exclusive 1940’s Evening on Board the Battleship Missouri – The first of three exclusive events of the 2022 World Cruise will kick-off in Pearl Harbour, Hawaii on 20 January 2022. Guests will have the opportunity to venture around the decommissioned warship, posing for photos beneath 16-inch guns, visit the “Surrender Deck” and experience a lively 1940s patriotic performances featuring a nostalgic troupe reminiscent of the era.
Intimate Dinner at the Stone Sculpture Museum & Gardens – On 24 March 2022 from Keelung, Taipei, guests will explore Yangmingshan National Park, one of nine national parks in Taiwan, renowned for cherry blossoms, hot springs, and fumaroles. Here they will enjoy a private dinner serving authentic local foods, followed by a private performance of a zheng (or guzheng), a Chinese plucked zither whose ancient history dates back well into BC’s.
An Evening at the Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Resort – Plunge into the beauty of the Indian Ocean in Male, Maldives on 14 May 2022 with a distinctive BBQ dinner on the beaches of Adaaran Prestige Vadoo. This prestigious Maldives luxury resort is located at the gateway to the South Atolls. Guests will be experience a traditional Boduberu performance and enjoy free time to spend as they like at the beach, and then indulge in a barbeque dinner, accompanied by a DJ.

In addition to the three exclusive events, the World Cruise will include two of the line’s most popular signature events available to all guests on a complimentary basis: Caviar in the Surf beach barbecue at Ko Kood, Thailand; and “Evening at Ephesus” at Kusadasi, Turkey, featuring a private classical concert in the ancient ruins under the stars.
Rita Rudner will also help to open the 2022 World Cruise, sailing from Los Angeles to Honolulu. Rudner has a trademark comedic style. Over the course of a 12-year run, Rudner has sold 1.5 million tickets and has become the longest-running solo comedy show in the history of Las Vegas.
Travelling westbound from Los Angeles, the 2022 World Cruise: Extraordinary Horizons will visit Hawaii, the islands in the South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia, and a number of destinations in Asia, Arabia and Africa before arriving at Athens. The voyage also marks Seabourn’s return to Egypt for the first time since 2014.
